We've been taking this week to assess and talk about our takeaways from BlizzCon, and we love all the profound talks occurring around the artwork, attributes, systems, and world of Diablo IV. We are also excited about a cool update we are likely for you in February of next year. Where we will share looks at our progress it will be the first in a series of quarterly upgrades.
We know that hotter is burning than the rest. We would like you to understand that we are having the very same discussions about stats and items which you're having--whether on the official discussion threads or outside websites, we read everything! Getting this right is on very top of our heads, and in the coming weeks our lead systems designer David Kim will offer some clarifications, share a number of his thoughts, and address some of your open questions. We hope you check it out and let us know what you think. Once more, on behalf of the whole team, from the bottom of our hearts we wish to thank you all for a unforgettable and fantastic BlizzCon 2019.
Diablo 4 arrived swinging in the fiery pits of hell in BlizzCon 2019, confirmed with a nearly announcement trailer and roughly three-minute gameplay trailer. The much-anticipated action RPG sequel has seemingly been in the works for quite a while, and - together Overwatch two - Blizzard eventually gave fans a formal reveal at this season's BlizzCon 2019 fan expo event. Below, we've collated all the trusted info we all know about Diablo 4 thus far, including gameplay features, courses, synopsis, trailers, launch date, and more. As to what we can expect that hasn't been verified, and since we are still relatively early in the advancement of Diablo 4, we'll do some researched speculation.
Blizzard revealed three courses at BlizzCon: Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid for Diablo 4. We didn't see much from the gameplay announcement trailer, but we were lucky enough to get dedicated gameplay trailers for each class more recently, via Game Informer. The Barbarian course is precisely what it sounds like - a storm of swinging weapons blunt and sharp; tactless, powerful, and brute. His unique abilities include a person that fans covers and attacks the barbarian in runes that are flaming, and one which projects a wave of energy to damage enemies.
The Sorceress requires a more tactical approach to battle, choosing to attack foes from afar using projectiles such as a bolt of lightning, ice cubes, and fireballs. A return to the series from Diablo 2, The Druid course is back with a brand new layout and abilities. In place of storm, fire magic and ground power the Druid's attacks. Shape-shifting magic transforms the Druid involving human, werewolf, and werebear, which will likely be central to most Druid builds.
First leaked by Twitter consumer WeakAuras, the Daughter of Hatred was validated as the number one baddie of Diablo 4.
