Face of the Franchise: Career Mode in sports games is my favorite manner in all of gambling. I always play every match and have sunken innumerable hours on Madden 21 coins multiple names. In the Madden 21 demonstration I was simulating the majority of those matches. This narrative doesn't make you care. It is so dead and corny. The characters are super unlikeable and this is coming from a guy who kind of enjoyed the 2k18 MyPlayer story and at the end of the day I just do not care. I didn't wish to invest myself in the narrative they had going on. The scenarios were super unrealistic from it turned into a packed NFL stadium to get a high school state match or Snoop Dog just randomly onto the area. It all just screams cliche and I typically still love that kind of material but I just wanted to skip the cutscenes but I exposed myself through it. Your gameplay at the early stages does not even matter, you might be the worst soccer player ever and you still get 10 D1 offers so at that point why even have me perform with? The game puts you on rookie mode with no option to fix so that it turns into just chucking up the ball and pressing Y(or Triangle) and putting up +70 on everybody. I have never felt this univested in a career manner and this was the second when it clicked that I am not enthusiastic about this game at all.
Soccer is my favorite sport(I was a school player and now coach school ball) and during my time on the trial that I didn't feel excited. I'd super low expectations so I did not feel disappointed, I just felt nothing. I love this sport and this is the only important simulation choice and I felt nothing. I have a couple hours left so that I might just test a bit more but after my period is done it's done once and for all. I got fooled into buying Madden 20 but maybe not this season. If you want the game, cool. As someone who knows football well and how the game functions in real life this title does not do anything for me personally. If you like soccer anything beyond a casual fan I can not recommend Madden 21 to you. It's really sad that this is what we have to operate with. We literally have to beg for features from executives and impolite devs. If you took the time to read thanks, grab me playing NCAA 14 and PS2 Madden and #FixFranchiseMode.
Madden is an ideal illustration of what a biography does to the quality of a service/product. The bar is set low by them and every year is a"step in a brand new direction". Every year that I feel like the kid in the rear of the car asking"are we there yet" on a road trip, but we aren't even half way fucking there. Thank god I only got the trial.
This together with all that I'm seeing on both r/Madden in addition to r/MaddenUltimateTeam cements me on not buying Madden for the first time since Madden 05 at the very least before the new consoles come out. I do play MUT and've spent quite some time into it the previous 5 decades but because the MUT team gave up buy Madden nfl 21 coins earlier in the summer I watched how much I really did not enjoy this manner, just lacked continuous upgrades and articles. To see that the 6-7 bullet points they had been adding to Franchise along with nothing else broke my heart.
